THE OLD OAK
Apparently the last film of the great English director and social realist, Ken Loach, The Old Oak has him on familiar ground, telling a story about the travails of common people. In this case, the struggling characters are the residents of a small English town of diminishing economic fortune, as well as a group of Syrian refugees. As usual, Loach's work is deeply felt and has an almost documentary sense of reality. 114 Minutes.
