Monday at the Movies: A Real Pain In-Person

Join us in the Hammond Room for a monthly film series showcasing independent and documentary films.

A REAL PAIN

Two American cousins decide to join a tour group in Poland to visit sites significant to their Jewish ancestors.  One (Jesse Eisenberg, also the writer/director) is a straitlaced family man, the other a charismatic but troubled soul for whom the film’s title can be applied in more ways than one.  For his deeply felt performance as the more troubled cousin, Kieran Culkin has been rightly lauded this award season, culminating with an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
