Vikings: Fearsome Raiders and Adventurous Traders Online
Vikings are best known for being fearsome raiders. But they were also adventurous traders who established a vast trade network that spanned from Byzantium to Dublin to Newfoundland to Greenland. London-based archaeologist Ellen Green returns for a look at the evidence the Vikings left in their far-reaching voyages of plunder and trade. Sponsored by the Friends of the Glencoe Public Library.
A recording will be available on the library's YouTube channel a few days after the program, and a link will be emailed to all registrants.
