Birdwatching at Turnbull Woods

Birdwatching at Turnbull Woods In-Person

Red Hill Birding will lead small groups in a bird-watching expedition through Glencoe’s Turnbull Woods. With any luck we’ll spot resident woodland birds like woodpeckers, blue jays, and red-tailed hawks and migrating birds such as the golden-crowned kinglet, brown creeper, white-throated sparrow, and even some sandhill cranes. Bring binoculars if you have them.

LOCATION: Meet in the parking lot at Turnbull Woods (1927 Green Bay Road, just southeast of the intersection of Green Bay Road and Lake-Cook Road)

Registration is required and space is limited. Preference will be given to Glencoe residents. For adults and teens (12 and up).
