Get Your Writing Started

Get Your Writing Started In-Person

If you want to be a writer or used to be a writer, join this workshop and get going! In each 90-minute class, you'll consider a prompt, answer questions about it to develop your idea, and use those answers to create a serious piece of writing. Then the class will share what we've written and rewrite. Taught by experienced writing teachers Bob Boone and Mark Larson, authors of the creative writing books Moe's Cafe, Joan's Junk Shop, and Write Through Chicago.

Registration required; attendance at all four sessions is encouraged.
