Adult Art Class: Create a Collage In-Person
Learn the basics of collage, work with texture, and learn how to arrange your materials to create a successful composition. We'll explore both visual texture and actual texture using everyday materials such as vintage book pages, sheet music, doilies, lace, bits of fabric, gift wrap, and found objects. Participants are welcome to bring items to use in their collage that are meaningful, such as handwritten letters, photocopies of family photos, children's art, and mementos. Taught by Jennifer Evans of Periwinkle Art Studio. Materials will be provided.
Registration is required and Glencoe residents will have priority if the class fills up.
