Big Books: Swann in Love by Marcel Proust

Big Books: Swann in Love by Marcel Proust Online

Are you ready to read some Proust? Marcel Proust's novella Swann in Love is a sort of prequel to the "Remembrance of Things Past" (or "In Search of Lost Time") heptalogy published in 1913-1927. A section of Swann's Way, the first book of the famously lengthy series, Swann in Love is considered a witty introduction to Proust that stands on its own as a wonderful work of literature. Returning leader Joseph Alulis will guide the discussions over Zoom.

Big Books is a series of guided discussions focusing on literary classics. It is sponsored by the Friends of the Glencoe Public Library.
