The Women of Abstract Expressionism with Jeff Mishur Online
Art historian Jeff Mishur returns to discuss the works of several women artists associated with Abstract Expressionism in the late 1940s and 1950s, including Helen Frankenthaler, Joan Mitchell, Lee Krasner, Alma Thomas and Elaine de Kooning. Mishur will also address the relationship between American art and Abstract Expressionism after World War II, as well as European modernism between the wars.
