Chicago's Bronzeville Neighborhood

Chicago's Bronzeville Neighborhood In-Person

The Bronzeville area has a fascinating history that goes back to pre-Civil War days and was strongly shaped by the Great Migration. This richly illustrated lecture will take you from the early times right up to the present, with an emphasis on the glory days of what was known as Black Metropolis. Presented by architectural historian Laurie Petersen, the editor of the AIA Guide to Chicago, the most comprehensive guide to the city's buildings.

Register if you'd like a reminder prior to the program. The program will be recorded but a link to the recording will be available only to those who registered by the time of the program. The recording will expire after two weeks.
