The Outrun
Saoirse Ronan (Brooklyn) plays a young woman who returns home after her London life spins out of control due to alcoholism. Shot on location on the wild and remote Orkney Islands, writer/director Nora Fingscheidt’s The Outrun is a powerful, vivid and ultimately uplifting story of a woman trying to restore a sense of peace and meaning to her life.
