Monday at the Movies: A Photographic Memory In-Person
A PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY
Filmmaker Elizabeth Rachel Seed never really knew her mother, the noted journalist and photographer Sheila Turner Seed, who died when Elizabeth was 18 months old. Sifting through her mother's vast archive of photos and interviews (with the likes of legendary photographers Henri Cartier-Bresson and Gordon Parks), the daughter attempts to finally know the mother. A Photographic Memory is a moving meditation on memory, identity and legacy.
87 minutes.
