World War I veteran Horace Pippin overcame adversity to become a professional artist. His paintings feature a folk-inspired style and depict contemporary African Americans as well as references to Black history.  Art historian Jeff Mishur returns to discuss Pippin and his relationship to the Harlem Renaissance movement during the period between the wars.
