Spring Migration Bird Walk In-Person
Springtime is most birders' favorite time of year in the Chicago area as breeding birds are singing and migrating birds are pouring through. An expert birder from Red Hill Birding will lead a spring migration bird walk at The Preserve of Highland Park. We'll look for a variety of migrant and resident birds, including warblers, thrushes, woodpeckers, and flycatchers and we'll learn all about spring migration. This is also a great opportunity to ask all of your burning bird-related questions! Registration required.
We'll meet promptly at 9:00 a.m. in the parking lot of The Preserve of Highland Park, 1207 Park Avenue West, Highland Park. Here is a map.
The bird in the picture is a great crested flycatcher.
