Adult Art Class: Macro Botanical In-Person
Paint a larger-than-life botanical specimen in this watercolor class. Learn how to capture the fine details that we usually don't notice at first glance. Reference photos will be provided, or you can choose to work from photographs of flowers and leaves taken with your smartphone. We'll first sketch an interesting "macro" composition, then apply color in layers using watercolor washes and use negative space to create depth and interest. For adults and teens (ages 13 and up); younger children not admitted.
