Explore: Magic of Matcha In-Person
Discover the enchanting world of matcha tea and the rich traditions of the Japanese tea ceremony. Join us for a hands-on experience as we guide you through the history of matcha and the art of preparing matcha tea using authentic Japanese tools like the chawan, chasen, and chashaku. We'll not only learn the proper techniques but will also explore the health benefits of matcha, tips for storing the tea, delicious matcha recipes, and the art of mindfulness. The program Includes two matcha tea tastings. Presented by Agnieszka Rapacz, a certified tea sommelier and president of the Chicago Teahouse. For adults and older teens.
