This illustrated talk by historian Leslie Goddard, Ph.D., explores the making of Gone with the Wind and the Jewish influence on its creation. We'll discuss a number of Jews involved in its production—including visionary producer David O. Selznick, composer Max Steiner, actor Leslie Howard, and initial director George Cukor—and how their Jewish backgrounds affected the film and its remarkably enduring popularity.
