Fall Migration Bird Walk In-Person
Red Hill Birding will lead a bird walk through the woods to a small pond at Highland Park's Heller Nature Center. We may see birds like warblers, thrushes, and other southbound migrants, along with resident woodland birds like woodpeckers, chickadees, and birds of prey. Bring scopes or a pair of binoculars if you have them.
Registration required; Glencoe residents who sign up before Monday, September 21 will receive priority. To make this process as smooth as possible, all registrations prior to September 21 will be assigned to the waitlist, and those who get into the program will be notified on September 21.
