From Surrealism to Photojournalism: The Art of Lee Miller Online
Born in 1907, Lee Miller went from flapper to cover model, Surrealist artist to World War II photojournalist. She achieved success in her various professions and earned the respect of (mostly male) colleagues. In this Zoom program, art historian Jeff Mishur returns to discuss a selection of Lee Miller’s work. Miller will be the subject of an upcoming exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago – Lee Miller: Fearless – running from August 29 to December 7.
