In Oslo, Norway, security cameras capture thieves stealing two paintings from a gallery. At trial, the painter of the stolen canvases unexpectedly speaks to one of the thieves, asking him to sit for a portrait as a kind of penance. An unlikely relationship and odyssey for both individuals ensue in this fascinating and moving documentary. 102 minutes. In English and Norwegian with English subtitles.
