The Art of the Symbolists with Jeff Mishur Online
While Impressionism is the most well-known 19th century art movement, modernists such as Edvard Munch, Paul Gauguin and Odilon Redon did not consider themselves Impressionists. They regarded themselves as representatives of the Symbolism movement. Learn about various contributors to this movement from France, Belgium and Northern Europe, as well as its major themes, such as fantasy, mystery and dream.
